Pure salep, combined with milk and water, has an exquisite aroma and flavor. If you have always consumed ready-made salep mixtures, you don’t know this taste yet.

You can prepare your milk and drink at home or you can prepare different kinds of flavors, for example you can make custard puddings, add them to the cakes to taste them, or even use as a thickener for making ice cream at home.

For the salep you will prepare as a drink, you need to add 1 teaspoon (8gr) of salep to a half liter of milk. You can get 25-30 glasses of salep from 75 gr salep. You can also consume a jar during the winter using different uses.

Instead of starch, thickening additives and milk powder in ready-made salep powders, salep drink which you prepare with pure salep and daily milk and sweetened with sugar to the extent you want, is waiting for you as a real and old taste, increasing taste. Just to taste it.

Hot salep drink recipe: Mix 1 teaspoon pure salep with any amount of sugar (3 tablespoons recommended). Mix this mixture thoroughly into half a liter of milk daily. Cook slowly over low heat without stirring. After boiling, continue to cook on the lowest heat until stirring (about 15-20 minutes). The most important point in the preparation of this beverage is that you should constantly mix. If you wish, you can put cinnamon stick or vanilla into it during cooking. After you close the gold, let it warm. After putting them in the cups, you can serve them by sowing some cinnamon powder. If you want to make without sugar, you can try flavoring with carob syrup.
